Gonzo apparently announced that their anime Blassreiter will be streamed at the same time as it is aired on Japan TV.
The best part is that there will be english subtitles to those streamed files.
Smart move Gonzo.
I guess this way they can discourage people from subbing this series.
At the same time the lower quality streaming for this type of anime will only encourage people to get the dvds.
Hmm… but how effective would this really be? It kinda makes you wonder doesn’t it?
But I have to say that it does seem tempting to watch the eps on crunchy and then get the series just cause the animation is done really nicely.
Afterall, since it is an action anime, most people would like to appreciate it in its original quality (both visual and audio).
