New History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi OVA
OMG! OMG! OMG! I love this series. It was so much fun to watch it.
It was recently announced in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday that a new Histroy’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi OVA will be produced by Brains Base!
What a combination. Brain’s Base who produced my two favourite anime of Summer 2011 – Natsume Yuujinchou San and Mawaru Penguindrum, will be producing this OVA as well.
I am sad that it is only going to be an OVA and not a proper series that will continue the story, but hey, I’ll take what I can get.
Not much more information has been released yet but future issues of the magazine is supposedly going to update us with more news on this.
Can’t wait to see it when it comes out! =)

So is it going to b seprate from the manga storyline?
There isn’t any information on that yet. =) Hopefully we will learn more soon.
it might turn out to be like air gear ova which revolve around main storyline…
hi is my first comment on this page, and I’m glad to know that kenichi ova is already in progress, I personally like a lot, not just me, my cousins and some friends and of course also the whole community on the internet that says go read all about this great manga
we’ve all heard about the page you request according to works for the second season, and many signed and left an comment, I hope the people in charge of making plans for spending the anime manga can make us give us the great favor of other chapters of anime!

i hope kenichi finds some new characters that are completely orginal like an extra fanservice character who been raised by animals and falls in love with the main character.
nope, read the manga, btw animal raised girls dont learn martial arts from the animals, there is a certain lvl of humanity in the series: al the masters got their techniques purely by training, there is no magic involved.
animal raised girls would be purely ki-based :p al distortion of fear and no techniques (except maybe for animal copies)
the orginal anime character would wear only a white dress, a jacket, and a one piece swimsuit underneath or a girl dressed only in a skimpy robe and simple chainmail armor like shigure expect more talkative and has silver colored hair.
well another idea is have more international based characters to join the story in the anime and manga.

It is sad ot hear that Kawakami Tomoko has passed away but I guess this might be a way to force the series to start anew with a new cast of people?
I quite like the VA of the Masters but I was always on edge whenever Kenichi would whine about something. =P His voice is suiting for such a character and I have liked the other roles his VA have portrayed in the passed, but I found his portrayal of Kenichi to be slightly irritating to listen to. =P

chances are that the ova is a pre-episode to the continuation of the story. thats how they did it with the kenichi anime
hopes are up for this, read the manga, i commend it
theres a chance theyll just do what they did with FMA and instead do the whole sereis. the original series is complete, but since theyr changing it and making it longer it would be an original version alteration(OVA)
the OVA series just continuing the ragnarok arcs……..Im so excited!!!
Have they indicated what will be in the OVA, will it continue where the series left off or will it be based on one of the brief filler arcs in the manga, like when Kenichi’s father visited the Dojo or when Kenichi challenged a friends Dojo
I love the Series aswell but, what is a OVA isnt it like a review/preview video?
So they can show you that the show might start?
Mirai Nikki Have also an OVA video with a bit difrents then the anime itself but the same story line.
But indeed I hope they will make episodes for this because I read the Manga and love any bit of it I just cant wait till they put it on episodes I so gonna WATCH IT!!!!
And I will buy any DVD.
If they make it in english dub version!

an OVA is an origional video animation it can be a one hour special but some series make OVAs that are made up of around 25 half hour episodes. this OVA is supposed to continue from after kenichi defeats Ragnarok

i think all kenichi fans are excited, but i dont understand why are they continuing the manga but not the anime, everyone i know that i recommended this anime too loved it ! BRING MORE KENICHI ANIMEEE
