“Jormungand” Anime Trailer Released!
The trailer for the anime adaptation of Keitarou Takahashi’s “Jormungand” has been released and it is looking good.
The music and the animation seem to be giving off a good vibe and I am hoping that the cloudiness of the images are not part of the actual series’ animation.
All I really have to say is that the song in the trailer is giving me the creeps. (^-^)b
More Information:
“Keitarou Takahashi’s Jormungand is a sibling of Black Lagoon. Both manga run in Sunday GX. Both feature heavily armed rule breakers, with their own sense of ethics. But rather than the typical guns for hire, Jormungand works from the interesting premise that its protagonists work for a multinational arms dealing corporation.” – CR
Sypnosis:
“The series follows Koko Hekmatyar, a young arms dealer who sells weapons under HCLI, a weapons corporation.
As one of the company’s unofficial weapon sellers, she secretly sells weapons in many countries while avoiding the local authorities and law enforcements as most of her work is actually illegal under international law. Traveling with her is her team of bodyguards who are mostly composed of ex-military veterans.
Her latest addition to her crew is Jonah, a seemingly emotionless child soldier who is skilled in combat yet ironically hates arms dealers. Jonah joins Koko as he wishes to find the arms dealer responsible for his family’s death.
What follows is Koko and her crews escapades around the world. “ – Wiki
Production Team:
“Keitaro Motonaga (GetBackers, Katanagatari, School Days) is directing the anime at the studio WHITE FOX. Mobile Suit Gundam 00′s Yousuke Kuroda is overseeing and writing the series scripts, and Gurren Lagann’s Taku Iwasaki is composing the music. Kazuhisa Nakamura, an animation director on Katanagatari and Steins;Gate, is designing the characters.” – ANN
Jormungand will be out in 2012.

Which language is the song? I’m not sure but sounds … turkish (for me) wonder if I’m right
it s a turkish folk song. Is it really in the anime?? I thought it was just a mix up rip.
Thx!! Yay I like being right
my lil sister is obsessed with turkish stuff and keeps making me listen to turkish music so now I kinda recognize the language and most importantly that style of music.
