Favaro as he finds out he’s been forced to become a part of a ronin-demon’s personal quest and the consequences it brings with it.
This time, I review:
Garo 01-03: These days living is a shitty thing to do for servants of Makai. With a demon-supporter continuously having the ear of a weak, aging king, all those whose job it is to hunt down and kill demons are now turned into public enemies. Naturally, there’s some emo-teenager who has a big role to play in the fate of that kingdom. Luckily, though, he’s surrounded by a lot of more interesting people.
Shingeki no Bahamut 01-03: Favaro didn’t want to be a hero, in fact, he didn’t want to be anything. What he wanted… well, actually, it didn’t really matter what he wanted because he was rather forcibly dragged into a foolish quest of some demon-girl to go to Helheim. Also, he has a rival who might as well be his best friend.
Akatsuki no Yona 03: Apparently the best way to spend your childhood is to sow the seeds for a love-triangle. Also… thank God for snakes! How else would you want to create drama in the middle of nowhere?
‘The game’s afoot!’ is what’s actually going through Akane’s mind right now. After all, she’s NEVER wrong nowadays when it comes to deductions and investigations.
This time I review:
Psycho-Pass II 02: The WC-killer isn’t really concerned with the poor state of public restrooms, it turns out. Also, Maki is still a pain in the ass while Akane seems to be the only one doing any serious police-work while also knowing when other people need to do what for the investigation.
Sanzoki no Musume Ronja 01/02: Mattis is the leader of a band of bandits but the real boss of the castle is his wife. The situation doesn’t get much better once his daughter Ronja gets born.
Akatsuki no Yona 02: Yona’s childhood-friend Soo-Won killed the king who was Yona’s father. Nobody can believe it… and so everybody has to double-check with the princess to make sure she knows what she’s talking about. Meanwhile, Hak mercilessly slaughters a lot of people while fleeing the castle with the princess who’s as helpful as a bunch of cucumbers.
Ah, what a romantic thing to say! I bet, girlfriends would just love to hear their boyfriends tell them that! It’s right up there with romantic comments like “You’re my girlfriend. Shut up and cook.” and “You’re my girlfriend. Shut up and wash my clothes.” for example.
This time around I review the following series:
Akatsuki no Yona 01: A princess meets the man of her dreams – except the man of her dreams is a murderer. What will she do…?! Well, apparently, if the opening is to believed, she will start a war. But hey, that’s just the usual wacky environment of politics back then! After all, war and murder are nothing but a continuation of diplomacy by other means, right…?
Okami Shouji to Kuro Ouji 01: A certain girl is a bad liar – but because of that she meets her true love. Except her true love turns out to be a total asshole. Hilarity ensues! Also, the tough dude in that relationship finally has a chance to show off his vulnerable side to the woman he secretly loves!
Sora no Method 01: A girl comes back to a town after several years. Before she left that town previously she did a thing that did a thing and met some people who helped her do this thing do a thing and also there was a girl with glowing hair. Naturally she remembers nothing of this. It’s like Total Recall but without any sci-fi or action… actually she just has a bad memory and there are a bunch of kids who take this shit way too serious.
