“Blood-C – The Last Dark Movie” Trailer Released

Do you remember that series back last year?

That CLAMP one?

The one with all that blood?

The one with plenty of white censored scenes and episodes that went nowhere?

What was it called again….? Oh yes, Blood-C

Its back, and with a vengence… (a cold joke for you guys made especially for you guys)

Blood-C Movie Out in June 2012

Why am I not shocked that we have to wait 9mths for the movie? =P

The one thing that the show did an excellent job of doing was making the viewers wait (or some may call it anticipation). Perhaps I am being unfair by slamming the wait, but I had hoped for the movie to be out sooner than mid next year. Personally, if it was not for the fact that I have put myself through watching the entire series and that the last episode was really good, I would not have bothered with the movie.

Blood-C Series Review

So how does one start off reviewing one of the most talked about series of the Summer 2011 season for all the wrong reasons?

I guess one should do the opposite of what Blood-C did and simply get right to it.

Blood-C – 12(Final) Review

This is all the movie is going to amount to be – a search and kill mission.

Episode 12

Finally, the series ends. This is such a frustrating show, up until last week the whole series has been too slow and draggy and then come the final episode, it suddenly attempts to redeem itself.

Everything that they did in this episode is what they should have been doing for the last 11 episodes – good animation, exciting soundtrack and decent plot development. Sure, there were some odd parts to the episode but if this is a sneak peak for the movie, then I my interest in the movie may have been revived.

Blood-C – 11 Review

We noticed, you know, taking ten episodes to do this isn’t really the definition of “speed”…

Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

M0rg0th: Saya doesn’t feel too good being confronted by the nightmare of “story-progess”, so here the episode in summary for those who can’t wait to hear of the big revelation: Sensei is an old, unimportant, liberal hippy believing in the bogeyman, the twins are like Boney and Clyde but are twins and Tokizane is broke, workless and didn’t manage to graduate any school, in short: he needs money, lots of it. And the big villain has a skin-problem, seriously it makes him look like a monster if you know what I mean…

Blood C – 10 Review

All…? Now you know how we feel Saya…Now you know…

Episode 10 – Since ’tis by its Breath
(what the hell is the title meant to mean?)

Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

What the hell?! I am sure that is most people were thinking when they saw this episode.

Saranaufogus: Things are finally getting interesting and I just hope that when they said that the farce should end, it would really end. I don’t think I could handle another let down if the next episode decides to continue on with this hide-and-seek style of story telling.

Blood-C – 09 Review

At least we know now why Tokizane is still in search for the true meaning of love…

Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

M0rg0th: There’s some good development this week as Saya is asking good questions but doesn’t get good answers (because that’d be far too much progress for one episode of Blood-C). Otherwise this episode kills even more people than last episode which makes it automatically even more intense and exciting because quantity is all that matters when it comes to gore and blood in series like Blood-C, it seems.

Blood-C – 08 Review

Now that‘s just exaggeration at this point, you know…

Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

M0rg0th: You know what, great surprise this week! Nobody gets killed! And Saya goes back to school wasting time with her typical diddley-plot-progress. Yeah, really, like the good ol’ times, just Saya, her dumbness and the rest of the universe not caring about her at all… Haha, this would be just great for Saya if that’d happen but sadly no surprises this week and the series keeps its usual rhythm of killing people cruelly and Saya not getting anything of what’s going on (she has a dog to do that for her, it seems).

Blood-C – 07 Review

“What, you don’t believe me or something?! I said that I’m a redundant xxxHolic-Character! Is it really that hard to believe?”

Episode 07

Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

M0rg0th: So that’s it then… Six episodes build-up finally end and we get a glimpse of the real story behind this series. Perhaps knowing that this series was done by Clamp should’ve given the audience a good hint where this was heading but now it’s sure: Blood-C is a typical Clamp-treat of the usual wishy-washy business. So it’s a Clamp-Series for Clamp-fans but should be actually a Blood-Spinoff. Seemingly it’s already part of the Blood-franchise for just having a lot of bloody action.

Blood-C – 06 review

You really shouldn’t search for depth when the series is forced to let people and monster explode in such a way…

Episode 6 – Dashed by Fierce Winds
Reviews by M0rg0th and Saranaufogus

M0rg0th: Another episode of Blood-C! Yeah, another chance to prove me wrong and actually start talking about what the series is actually about! Well, partly my prayers were answered because seemingly it was decided to show why this series is called Blood-C which is a nice change from the cheesy slice-of-life in the beginning. But don’t worry it’s still the same kind of Blood-C-Episode full of hints, suspicions and nothing helpful that might explain the story.
