Review-Roundup: ERASED 04, Schwarzes Marken 01-04, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu 04
That certainly looks awkward…
This time I review:
Erased 04: Satoru continues his personal, secret crusade to save Kayo by aggressively courting her.
Schwarzes Marken 01-04: After this little spat called WWII Germany was split in half. Like in any good bad-cop/good-cop-routine one of them was nice and the other was an asshole. East-Germany was the latter and their bad cops were called the Stasi. Oh, and aliens kick everyone’s asses. But wait… it gets better! One asshole in an elite-troupe of elite-assholes finally gets a chance for redemption as an idealistic pseudo-imouto-character gets dropped into his lap to make him reconsider his asshole-attitude. And *spoiler* his actual sister appears as well soon after that! But even she’s just his “step-sister” – which needed to be clarified for any sort of future romantic moments between the two.
Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu 04: WWII came and went like a nice summer-breeze and now we’re back to business-as-usual. But then some devilish woman intrudes on the idyll of two dudes’ bromance.
Review-Roundup: Dimension W 01-03, ERASED 02/03, Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju 02/03
Well, how else are you gonna sell your anime?!
This time I review:
Dimension W 01-03: It’s the future. Humanity has solved its energy-problem using a new dimension – except it’s pretty shitty. To make matters worse, this shitty thing is controlled by shitty people. All that stands between them and world-destruction is one grumpy super-soldier and one moe robot.
ERASED 02/03: Being a child isn’t easy. Being your past child-self isn’t easy either. But Satoru’s gotta get his shit together – because he’s the only one who knows that Kayo’s about to get murdered. Especially since it’s confirmed that the authorities are incompetent.
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju 02/03: Kikuhiko is about to get left behind by Sukeroku’s talent but then WWII happens! And you know what that means…! Yes, he has to spend a long time doing boring stuff in the countryside!
Review-Roundup: ERASED 01, Active Raid 01, Prince Of Stride: Alternative 01
You know, there’s a difference between writing for teenagers and writing like a teenager, Prince Of Stride…
This time I review:
ERASED 01: A boy with superpowers leads a depressed life – until his mother arrives and gets killed in his flat. His superpowers activate and suddenly he’s back in elementary school!
Active Raid 01: A teenager-girl is supposed to check on one police-unit’s outrageous behavior but gets bullied in return. Said police-unit still saves the day in the end. Also, politics suck!
Prince Of Stride 01: A bunch of kids love parkour but they don’t want to be too free-spirited. So they invent Stride which is Parkour – but safer. As with every extravagant sport what we really want to see is a version that feels as safe as it looks. Stride is exactly that – and the kids love it! Or they supposedly do in this series’ universe…
